Recap of a beautiful month

August was very different from July but in good ways. On the other hand, I cannot believe that September is just minutes away—or more than halfway through when I’ve finally published this piece.

These flowers were a gift from my son. I love when he hands me things he knows I will think are pretty. Now, because these things will wilt up so fast, I’ve made it a habit to take a picture–because those will last.

El Doctor is in the house! He might look a bit like a mad scientist but it is only because he is trying to keep the stethoscope in his ears. Big brother and sister were fabulous patients for him.

Reading in the car before I gather the kids. Must be a Wednesday… cuz those days we are out for 12+hours.

Big boy is such a natural hooper. Am I biased? Maybe. But I honestly think this is the sport he has enjoyed the most. The season went by way too fast.

Reusable water balloons for the boy who can now do all the things in the potty.

In theory, this walk was a dream. But it only lasted a few minutes like this. It was hot, he was tired of pushing her, and I couldn’t push both a stroller and a bike very well at the same time lol. Made a good picture though!

My little girl is just so creative! I absolutely love the times when she quietly plays at the counter with little toys. Look at the precious little beach she made for Bluey and friends!

We’ve been loving ending our evenings like this. Sometimes it’s way too hot. And since we started enjoying these it started storming regularly. Go figure.

Pumpkin spiced iced lattes on Wednesdays and Fridays. A small way to celebrate getting through the week.

The school snack my little princess requested for me. We’ve since changed favorite things, and that is okay. Variety is the spice of life.
