A message from my heart to yours.

Just the other day, I came across this carousel post that so resonated with my heart. And I had been considering how to share it with you all. So here I am!
I relate so much to the part about not wanting to sell things to people that don’t need them. And as one who honestly hates to shop, spend money, and all that mess, but would like to grow an extra side income, this has been a tough journey for me. I am continuing to seek how to more clearly communicate my heart to those I’m connected to here and on social media. I don’t ever want to come across as materialistic. But instead to clearly educate about heathier and simple ways to encourage overall wellness.
I’ve reached out to several friends, those who I know would really appreciate these companies I love, and I was somewhat surprised by the response I got. I sensed fear when someone I am reaching out to responds to me adjacent to these companies. I am not going to lie, it is so discouraging because I know at our core, some of these ladies share similar core desires that I do. But somehow, I am not reaching them in a way that is enlightening. This is tough to admit, but I am open to learning.
I cannot stand subscriptions either–and it’s only natural when we are bombarded with companies and commitments that are so not worth our time or our money. I get that! Because I am so careful about where I put my hard-earned money. (I don’t work for fun!) So since these things I buy are necessities for me and my family I look forward to making these purchases.
But if Target or Amazon were offering a way to make some money by referring friends, you know any one of us would be all over that like a duck on a june bug. There are real fears when a friend is associated with a company. I don’t fully understand it but I recognize it because I am experiencing it firsthand.
I’m writing here because I so want to share my heart behind “all the things” that I am promoting. I am purely sharing things that I love and have been enhancing my life. And while I share with those who I really think would love them, in no way do I want to encourage anyone to buy things they don’t need. What I use have replaced things I used to use–and were of lesser quality.
This post today is intended to reach those who share (or will share) the values I am realizing today as I strive to care for my family. I hope to inspire anyone and everyone that reads my writing and sees my posts and reels on social media.
Thanks for reading along!
